FULL TIME MAINTENANCE POSITION
Maintenance Job Ad Posting: Maintenance tech needed for an apartment complex. This is a full time position Monday through Friday from 8:30am â 5:00pm, with emergency on call. Competitive pay with a great benefit package after a 90 day probationary period.
The characteristics of the person we seek to fill this position include the following: integrity and honesty, commitment to the position for an extended period of time, acceptable skill levels in mentioned areas of responsibility, ability to organize and schedule work requirements and to conduct tasks without consistent supervision, ability to think independently and creatively particularly in times of emergency, empathy for the needs of residents, ability to relate well to others.
Areas of responsibilities and skill set should include but are not limited to:
Maintaining the building interior and exterior, follow corporate standards, Painting, Plumbing, Drywall Repair, Minor Electrical, Cleaning, Carpentry, Flooring, appliance repair, general maintenance repairs, Apartment turnovers, maintaining emergency services, assisting and maintaining a working relationship with vendors including price matching, assist with snow removal, assist with curb appeal, maintaining a maintenance budget under the supervisor of your direct supervisor.
Qualifications:
Must have a minimum of 2+ years prior experience in Property Maintenance and all candidates must have a valid driver's license.
Must live within 20 minutes of Scranton, Pa.
