We are seeking someone to do grass-cutting and landscaping starting at $13/hour. (We can supply at least 40-50 hours of work a week.) Knowledge of contracting trades is a plus but not required. Availability for at least 40 hours per week is preferred but not required - working on projects "part-time" also an option. We would be looking to engage someone as soon as this coming week in order to prepare for the upcoming season.
The majority of our work is in the Scranton-Wilkes-Barre area - with a few outliers in Factoryville, Harford, and elsewhere. Please do not apply if you have issues driving to the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area for much of the work this job requires.
WHAT'S EXPECTED? You must be capable of working independently, by yourself or with a helper, and must have a method of transporting a lawn mower, a weed-whacker, and a hedge-trimmer from location to location. To qualify for this job, you require a driver's license and a vehicle. We will provide the mower, trimmer, edger, weed-whacker, etc.
Hourly starting rate is $13.00 an hour STARTING wage. Existing landscaping, grass-cutting, and mulching experience, or other knowledge are all a plus.
DRUG TESTING is REQUIRED by OUR INSURANCE - You will be required to take a 11-panel drug screening (which our insurance company requires). This must occur within 7 days of being hired. If you fail the drug test, we must charge you $116 for the drug test and cannot continue your employment. You'll have to sign an agreement to this effect, as well. After this, additional drug tests are randomly administered every 90 days.
