Warehouse Cleaner / Pallet Jack Rider
Location: Wilkes-Barre, PA
Schedule: Sunday through Thursday, 12:00pm to 8:00pm
Pay: $14.50-$15.50/hr
About the Role
We are looking for a dependable, safety-minded individual to join our team as a Warehouse Cleaner / Pallet Jack Rider. This position plays a key role in keeping our facility clean, organized, and environmentally responsible. You’ll handle general cleaning duties throughout the warehouse while also operating basic material-handling equipment to collect and process recyclable materials such as cardboard and plastic.
Key Responsibilities
Perform general cleaning of warehouse areas, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
Operate a pallet jack rider to collect bins of cardboard from designated stations.
Feed cardboard into an industrial compactor and ensure safe operation.
Collect plastic materials and operate a plastic baler to create compact bales for recycling.
Keep recycling and waste collection areas clean and organized.
Perform routine checks of equipment and report any maintenance or safety issues.
Follow all company safety procedures, including proper use of PPE.
Work collaboratively with warehouse and maintenance teams to maintain efficient operations.
Qualifications
Previous experience in warehouse, janitorial, or recycling work preferred.
Ability to safely operate pallet jack riders and other basic equipment. (We will train the right candidate on safety/operating pallet jack riders)
Comfortable working in an active warehouse environment (noise, moving machinery, varied temperatures).
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Safety-conscious and detail-oriented.
