Busy Fire Truck manufacturer looking for a Projector Coordinator to add to our staff.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

Serves as liaison between multiple functional groups (Operations, Sales, Purchasing, Engineering, and Customer)

Works with the customer from the time of sales handoff through apparatus delivery

Participates in pre-construction meetings with customers and dealers; creates and distributes pre-construction package prior to meeting

Creates/maintains shop order and customer change order following pre-construction meeting and throughout the build process

Compiles and distributes additional documentation as required by production

Maintains the truck file

Manages multiple concurrent projects through the manufacturing process

Friday up date pictures and send to customer

Assist Engineers as needed

Collects data for projects as needed

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Required:

Experience in manufacturing and/or managing projects through a structured process

Communication proficiency

Desired:

Previous experience in a heavy manufacturing environment

Previous experience in managing customer interactions

Organizational Proficiency

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Clean / valid driver’s license

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.

Must be able to communicate in English (both written and oral) as it relates to the job.

Must be adaptable to a changing work environment, competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.

Must be excellent communicator utilizing email

WORKING CONDITIONS

The working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time. The employee frequently is required to walk; stoop and bend; and work at a desk or table.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus. Working in this environment requires the use of safety equipment that may include but not limited to safety glasses, hearing protectors, safety shoes, etc.
