NIGHT SHIFT Opening for an experienced Deisel Mechanic
$2000 Sign on Bonus
$25.00 to $40.00/Hour Depending on experience
$2 night shift differential pay
OVERVIEW:
Working as a full time Vehicle Maintenance employee, you will perform general maintenance and repairs on CNG and Diesel equipment. You will be performing installations, preventative maintenance, diagnostic tasks, oil changes and maintenance on tires, brakes, trucks and trailers. These tasks are expected to be done efficiently, accurately, and in accordance with DOT regulations.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Providing excellent service while supporting maintenance needs
Performing oil changes and maintenance on tires, brakes, and other supporting components on company vehicles
Performing electrical diagnostics on ABS, lighting and engine management systems
Performing maintenance on trailer body and supporting components
Performing Tractor and trailer preventative maintenance and DOT inspections in accordance with Federal regulations
REQUIREMENTS:
Truck mechanic experience and/or recent vocational training preferred
General maintenance skills and experience, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic basic troubleshooting and repair, preferred
Experience with compressed gas or hazardous materials preferred
Solid work history and experience in industries with strict adherence to procedures and regulations
Strong work ethic with ability to prioritize, work conscientiously, and with limited supervision
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing requirements
Ability sit, stand, and walk continuously
Ability to kneel, bend, and reach frequently
Ability to lift up to 50lbs at customer site and/or station, as needed
