In this position, you will be responsible for managing the receipt, storage, distribution, and inventory control of various stock items and supplies within a storeroom environment. This includes overseeing the shipping and receiving of both raw and finished goods in a manufacturing context, as well as fulfilling orders for inmates in the commissary. Your additional responsibilities will encompass recordkeeping tasks, utilizing specialized warehouse and inventory software for the receiving, storing, issuing, and maintenance of supplies; keeping track of ordered and received items; preparing reorder lists; conducting inventory checks; inspecting the quality of goods; and verifying received items against purchase orders. The role also involves supervising an inmate work detail, distributing inmate orders, ensuring the security of controlled items, managing the exchange of inmate laundry and clothing, and performing repairs on inmate clothing. You may be required to operate mechanized storeroom equipment for material handling. Work assignments will be prioritized by your supervisor, and you will be accountable for selecting the appropriate methods to complete these tasks. Your work will be evaluated through inspections and upon completion to ensure adherence to established standards and procedures.Interested in learning more? Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday
This position is eligible for full retirement benefits at age 50 or 55.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
One year of stockroom, warehouse, retail sales, or clerical experience; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirement:
Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required.You must be able to perform essential job functions.Legal Requirements:
