Description Our client is currently seeking a Payroll Specialist for a contract to hire position in the Tarentum area. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with high-volume payroll processing and proficiency with ADP software. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:
Process payroll accurately and timely for a high volume of employees.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
Maintain employee records and update payroll information as needed.
Resolve payroll discrepancies and inquiries in a timely manner.
Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure accurate payroll processing.
Generate payroll reports and provide data analysis as required.
Assist with year-end payroll processes and reporting.
Stay updated on changes to payroll regulations and best practices.
Perform other payroll-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in payroll processing, preferably with high volume payroll.
Proficiency with ADP software is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
