Description This is a full time, 100ONSITE, TEMPORARY-to-HIRE opportunity that will lead to a permanent position and is located near Trevose, PA. The working hours are Monday through Friday, roughly 8:00a - 5:00p.A well established and growing construction company is looking to add a Construction Project Coordinator to their team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the project managers with all phases and aspects of construction projects. The ideal candidate must have 3+ years of construction industry experience, be thorough/detailed, be a go-getter and willing to visit construction sites for meetings occasionally, and must be able to multi-task & synchronize all elements of a project ensuring operational efficiency. Responsibilities: Manage vendor insurance requirements and pricing lists. Manage overall project organization system in place. Review drawings and specification to become completely familiar with project and identify long lead times and critical path items. Coordinate pre-construction activities for projects: bidding, pricing evaluations, comparison of scopes, vendor buyouts, contracts and purchasing, submittals, permitting, delivery timeframes and milestones. Accounting of project expenses Assist in coordination of personnel: vendors, subcontractor employees and provide real time information and updates on projects Procure equipment and material and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies. Act with organizational responsibility to projects: attend weekly meetings, assist with weekly look-ahead schedules and manage weekly project reporting. Assist in monitoring and supporting Horgan’s Quality Assurance Program and adherence to the system.
