The Senior Manufacturing Financial Analyst will support our North American chemical operations to ensure manufacturing and logistics costs are accurately controlled and recorded, partner with
operations teams to drive cost improvements in the business, control/assess financial returns
on key operational investments, and support all finance-related activities across multiple
production sites in the United States and Canada. This role is equal parts controllership and financial
planning & analysis.Key Responsibilities:● Manage financial activities of six manufacturing plant operations in the US and Canada.● Perform all COGS-related monthly closing activities and financial analysis for the chemicals business in North America totaling approximately $350M in annual spend.● Partner with plant leaders to improve financial performance and working capital position.● Lead NAM process for annual operating budgets and ongoing expense forecasting.● Support strategic plan initiatives and financial decisions including plant expansions, product repositions, and rationalizations, as needed.● Support capital spend, new investment models and physical counts, as required.● Support make-versus-buy and margin analysis.● Lead annual physical inventories at the production plants; Inventory adjustments, analysis, and audit requests.● Conduct internal control/process reviews based on applicable statutory and IFRS reporting requirements.● Lead monthly analysis and reporting of direct material inflation/deflation.● Support balance sheet controls for logistics, including freight invoice/accrual management
and ad-hoc freight analysis for internal fleet & 3rd party logistics.● Respond to client ad-hoc requests for customized data and reports in a knowledgeable and
