The Office of Technology Transfer (OTT) within the Office of the Senior Vice President for Research at The Pennsylvania State University is seeking qualified applicants for an Alliance Officer.This position will be located at the University Park Campus and will report to the Associate Vice President for Research, Director of the Office of Technology Transfer, who is responsible for the management of intellectual property developed at Penn State.Responsibilities: The responsibilities include the following:

The primary role is about identifying and reaching out to industry subject matter experts such as corporate scouts and investors.

Creating and maintaining an "External Engine Network", a group of regularly meeting external experts who are willing to provide feedback on technologies and help OTT meet our commercialization goals.

Building and fostering meaningful partnerships between Office of Technology Transfer and investors.

Strategically develop opportunities such as hosting events, conferences or other forms of engagement with our partners.

Evaluating commercial potential of innovations and technologies.

Connect OTT to potential licensees or partners to further develop Penn State Intellectual Property.
