As a County Fiscal Officer 2, you will be responsible for the fiscal oversight of the Drug and Alcohol, Adult and Family Services, and HealthChoices Programs. This includes overseeing, preparing, and analyzing financial and eligibility reports required by Delaware County, the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services (DHS), and federal entities.The Fiscal Officer 2 ensures all financial and eligibility operations related to the annual budgets for the respective funds are in compliance with current county, state, and federal regulatory and statutory requirements. This professional also functions as a liaison with other county offices, to include but not limited to budget, controllers, and purchasing. Strong leadership and effective communication skills are crucial, as you will be responsible for supervising a team of fiscal staff.Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment
Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
One year as a County Fiscal Officer 1; or
Four years of accounting and/or budgetary experience and a business-related associate's degree that includes six college credits in accounting; or
Two years of accounting and/or budgetary experience and a business-related bachelor's degree that includes six college credits in accounting; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training which includes or is supplemented by six college credits in accounting.Other Requirements:

You must pass a background investigation.
This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
