THE POSITIONWe are looking for a meticulous and proactive Clerical Assistant 1 to become part of our team. In this role, you will be essential in managing document imaging as a scanning operator for Driver and Vehicle Services. Your responsibilities will include processing image transactions to maintain both physical and electronic records in the Enterprise Content Services (ECS) Retrieval System, as required by the Motor Vehicle Code. This position is ideal for an organized person who excels in a dynamic work environment. DESCRIPTION OF WORKIn this position, you will be responsible for receiving and preparing source documents related to Driver and Vehicle Services for imaging into a repository. It is essential to inspect the documents for any foreign objects, such as staples or paperclips, before scanning them according to the established parameters for each job. In the event of a jam, you must diagnose the issue and take appropriate corrective actions to resume scanning. After imaging, submit the files as per the outlined procedures and organize completed batches on designated carts or shelves, while also delivering any checks found to the supervisor. Additionally, review the images in the Preview window to confirm their quality and proper scanning of all documents, making necessary adjustments for clarity. If re-scanning or removal of an image is required, halt the machine, identify the affected documents, and proceed according to protocol. Ensure proper sorting of documents into the correct bins and maintain cleanliness of all scanner components. Finally, prepare daily reports detailing the type of work completed, time allocated for each task, and the total number of documents scanned, while also possessing the ability to recognize and perform minor equipment repairs. Full-time employment

Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch

Must be available for overtime as required

Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.
