If so, Luzerne County Children & Youth Services is looking for people like you! DESCRIPTION OF WORKAs a Clerk Typist 3, you will be responsible for the coordination of physical and behavioral health care needs for children placed in out-of-home care. This includes verifying insurance coverage and billing details, acting as agency liaison for the County Assistance Office, assisting families with medical assistance applications, and determining eligibility through the Client Information System.Responsibilities for this role also include assisting with a variety of administrative and fiscal duties. These include filing, scanning, typing, scheduling meetings, taking meeting minutes, fiscal reports, providing quality assurance to the Random Moment Time Study in the Title IV-E process, and conducting the agency’s annual inventory. Full-time employment

Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

Six months as a Clerk Typist 2, and educational development to the level of completion of high school;or

One year of progressively complex clerical typing experience and completion of high school;or

Six months of moderately complex clerical typing work and completion of a post high school business curriculum;or

Any equivalent experience and/or training which provided the required knowledges, skills, and abilities.
