DESCRIPTION OF WORKAs a County Casework Supervisor, you will be tasked with overseeing functions of caseworkers of Blair County Children, Youth & Families (BCCYF). Work includes guiding decision-making, ensuring comprehensive investigation and service planning, covering supervised employees’ caseloads when needed, and participating in supervising emergency duty. BCCYF supervisors play a vital role as the main support for our caseworkers. You will have the opportunity to mentor caseworkers, collaborate with community stakeholders, and work with the administrative team to lead the agency. Full-time employment, 35 hours weekly
Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
Rotating emergency duty supervisor coverage for after-hour calls required.
Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Two years of professional experience in public or private social work and a bachelor's degree with major course work in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences;or
Any equivalent combination of experience and education which includes 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences.
