Field Service Engineer lll, Drone Pilot - Remote

Achieve the development of on-site installation, servicing and repair processes of complex equipment and systems. You will be responsible for providing post-sales service and support to our Dealer, Partner Channels and End-User Customers. You will drive continuous improvement initiatives in the processes related to field services and product development. You will lead cross-functional groups to quickly fix any administrative difficulties relating to delivery and installation of proper equipment. Maintain high level knowledge of Honeywell’s Building Automation systems hardware and software platforms. You will act as an escalation point for Service Engineers, Technical Support, and other stakeholders. Support other engineers in troubleshooting.Applicants must be willing to travel 75% of the time across the following territory: Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia.Key Responsibilities

Advanced-level technical support for all in-region customers

Validate customer request

Educate customer and field technicians

Write documentation used by field technicians

Ensure right and Fast delivery

Proactively recommends potential quality and efficiency improvement within service team

Complies with Corporate, Local, Health, Safety and Environmental regulations

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTSDue to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.You Must Have

Minimum 7 years of experience in Building technology systems (BMS, Fire, Security)

Drone Pilot Experience Must hold a pilot certificate issued under 14 CFR part 61 or Hold a First Time Remote Pilot License

Previous technical/installation experience in the Physical Security Industry

English language fluency / Must be a US Person

Valid driver’s license

Bachelor’s degree in Technical field (mechanical, electrical, electronics, automation)

Knowledge in Microsoft Server, Windows applications, and Active Directory management

Strong knowledge In Networking, Windows, and SQL Server

Pro Watch or Maxpro VMS experience

Good organizational, written, and oral communication

Good presentation skills

Ability to work independently

Ability to lift 25-50 pounds as required
