THE POSITIONDo you enjoy analysis and budgeting? The Pennsylvania State Police is looking for a Fiscal Management Specialist to work in the preparation, review, and analysis of fiscal information for the annual department budget. If you excel in highly complex financial work, this is the job for you! DESCRIPTION OF WORKAs a Fiscal Management Specialist 3, you will manage the collection, examination, analysis, and budgetary control for multiple appropriations. This includes firearms records checks, gun checks, gaming enforcement, liquor control enforcement, law enforcement information technology, and automated fingerprint identification systems. Additionally, you will d evelop and present program area status reports for use by fiscal director, agency program directors, and the Comptroller's office.Interested in learning more? Full-time employment

Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $64,959.00 (before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

One year as a Fiscal Management Specialist 2; or

Two years of experience in professional fiscal administration, and a bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, economics, or a related field; or

An equivalent combination of experience and training.
