DESCRIPTION OF WORKIn this position, you will inspect nursing units for regulatory compliance and resident care needs, assess nursing treatment plans, and respond to emergency calls during off-duty hours. You will make rounds at least twice a month, ensuring any changes in residents' conditions are reported. Accurate recording of daily care in the electronic medical record system is essential. Additionally, you will manage scheduling, performance evaluations, leave requests, and disciplinary actions, as well as interview candidates and make hiring recommendations. Your role will involve administering nursing services and making decisions within your scope of experience and training. Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment, 40-hour work week
Work hours are 1st shift (10:30 AM to 7:00 PM), Monday - Friday with a flex schedule.
You may be required to work evenings and weekends as needed.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Two years as a Registered Nurse Supervisor or three years as a Registered Nurse Instructor (commonwealth titles) in a facility providing care and services for people with a mental or physical injury, illness, or developmental disability; or
Six years of professional nursing experience, which includes one year in a supervisory or consultative capacity providing nursing care and services for people with a mental or physical injury, illness, or developmental disability; and a bachelor's degree in nursing, nursing education, or nursing administration. A master's degree in nursing, nursing education, or nursing administration may be substituted for up to one year of the required general professional nursing work experience;or
An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes one year in a supervisory or consultative capacity providing nursing care and services for people with a mental or physical injury, illness, or developmental disability.
Special Requirements:
You are required to have active authorization to practice as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania.
If you possess an active temporary practice permit, you must obtain licensure as a Registered Nurse within the one (1) year period defined by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.
