Refrigeration TechnicianJob DescriptionSeeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will work with production and engineering teams to ensure system specifications are met, read and comprehend process flow and engineering schematics, and perform tasks such as layout, cutting, mounting, and connecting process piping using various methods. Responsibilities also include filling process loops with specified gases or fluids, cutting, threading, and connecting pipes to functional components, and insulating piping and various other system components. The technician will be using tools such as brazing torch, soldering iron, hammer, tape measure, wrenches, and micrometers.Skills
Knowledge of refrigeration systems (low, medium, high temperature systems)
Certified refrigerant recovery cardholder (EPC cert)
Brazing, silver soldering, soft soldering, pipe fitting, insulating, leak testing
HVAC Certification
Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints
Experience in running copper piping and PVC
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to organize work and meet deadlines
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Understanding of refrigeration cycles and troubleshooting
