Piper Companies is looking for a Senior Network Engineer for a permanent position with a financial services organization in Wayne, PA . This position specifically supports premier financial applications at a large and long-standing federal services bank.
Responsibilities for the Senior Network Engineer:
The Senior Network Engineer is responsible for the overarching network architecture
Responsible for recommending and validating network technologies and implementing new solutions
Serve as the technical lead for certain applications and be the primary escalation point for systems related problems
Accountable for identifying and resolving root-causes
Qualifications for the Senior Network Engineer:
Must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent training and/or work experience
Must have 5+ years of experience providing hands-on systems support for Information Technology
Minimum of 2 years' experience related to Public and hybrid cloud design and deployments
Cisco Certified Internetworking Professional (CCNP) preferred
Working knowledge of enterprise routing, datacenter design, firewall implementation and fault tolerant solutions
Demonstrated expertise with Visio to produce detailed network documentation
Compensation/Benefits for the Senior Network Engineer:
$140,000 - $150,000
3 days on site, 2 days remote.
