As a Staff Physician 2, you will treat physically ill patients by utilizing appropriate treatments and preventive interventions, ensuring patient safety at all times. This will include conducting physical and neurological examinations, facilitating patient transfers to community hospitals, and rendering daily medical treatment. You will collaborate with the treatment teams, attend staff and hospital committee meetings, and assist in patient education and wellness promotion. This role requires effective communication skills to maintain good working relationships with staff, relatives, agencies, and others invested in our patients' welfare.Interested in learning more? Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week.
Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. May change based on operational needs. Participation in after hours and overnight coverage may be assigned.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Three years of experience and/or training in the practice of medicine.Special Requirements:
Possession of a license to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as issued by the State Medicine Board, or the State Osteopathic Medicine Board.Other Requirements:
PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
You must be able to perform essential job functions.Legal Requirements:
You must pass a background investigation.
A conditional offer of employment will require medical examination and drug screening.
This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
