If a position is listed with both office locations and virtual offerings, Comcast may be willing to consider candidates who live greater than 100 miles from the office for the remote option.)Job SummaryThe SFA SRE SecOps team is a group of experts with diverse skillsets who focus on the reliability (SRE), security and operations of the Service Fulfillment and Assurance (SFA) platform. Our team supports 25 application groups within SFA and is responsible for driving cloud strategy, infrastructure management, monitoring, security, policy compliance, vulnerability management, development of shared applications, tools and frameworks, standardization of SDLC processes, methods and procedures, and ensuring that we make significant strides in improving the platform towards a fully resilient, secure 24x7x365 available system.We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SRE/SecOps engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for building and maintaining reliable, secure, and scalable systems.Job DescriptionWhat You'll Do:

Reviews, writes and edits codes. Conducts analysis to determine integration needs.

Researches, writes and edits documentation and technical requirements, including software design evaluation plans, test results and technical manuals.

Monitors and evaluates competitive applications and products. Reviews literature, patents and current practices relevant to the solution of assigned projects.

Works with the Quality Assurance team to determine if applications fit specification and technical requirements.

Applies full use and application of engineering methodologies related to area of engineering specialty.

Displays knowledge of engineering concepts and skills and knowledge of their application in the area of specified engineering specialty.

Displays knowledge of and ability to apply, process design and redesign skills.

Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

Regular, consistent and punctual attendance.

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

What You'll Need:

0-2 years of experience with Java, Python, and AWS would be preferred.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Strong willingness and passion to learn new technologies.
