PLC/DeltaV Automation Engineer

Job Location WestPoint PA/ Philadelphia PA/Durham NC/Muskegon MI/Indianapolis IN(Hybrid)
Roles & Responsibilities:
Provide support for PLC controllers and associated I/O and HMI\'s, system maintenance and the ability to perform loop checks and calibration
Programming changes of various PLC and HMI/SCADA control system applications
Troubleshoot Ethernet, serial and other communication networks between PLCs and HMIs, MES, Serialization system, etc.
Perform patching for antivirus and ensure system security
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address networking issues and ensure system connectivity
Support for maintaining and updating system documentation and procedures
Support execution of IQ, OQ for control system changes and enhancements
Support for system validation documentation and ensure system validation compliance
Support updating of system documentation including SOPs
Provide technical support to customers, engineers, and other stakeholders
Troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade existing control systems
Support regulatory compliance with safety, environmental and quality standards
Utilize best practices, standards and procedures related to automation systems
Maintain and update knowledge of evolving automation technologies
Support application-specific knowledge management
Work on Incident management, Service request management, Problem management and Change management areas
Education:
Bachelor\'s degree or foreign equivalent in Chemical, Electrical, Computer Science or Bio-Process Engineering, or related field
Qualifications:
5+ years of process automation experience in life, science industry, and a chemical engineering degree or equivalent
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Provide expert-level support for DeltaV controllers, I/O, and system maintenance
Oversee software change control processes for the DeltaV system
Experience with PLCs, particularly Siemens and Allen Bradley, and the ability to perform loop checks
Troubleshoot communication between PLC and DeltaV
Perform patching for antivirus and ensure system security
Setup remote access and workstations for efficient system management
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address networking requirements and ensure system connectivity
Maintain and update system documentation and procedures
Provide technical support to customers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
Troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade existing control systems.
Participate in project execution and project coordination.
