SUMMARY
This position is with an international software provider in their US corporate office in Wexford, PA. We are seeking an Accountant that will report to the Controller and CFO. This position is at staff accounting level and requires processing a high volume of transactions.Monday - Friday 8:00 am 4:30 pm. The pay range is $50,000 up to $70,000, depending on skills and experience. Employee benefits are offered. On site in the office in Wexford, PA.Responsibilities include:
Accounts receivable: invoices, cash applications, collections, credit checks
Account payable: vouchering transactions, check runs
Journal entries
General ledger and bank reconciliations
Sales tax preparation and filing
Assist with month and year end close
Generating financial reports
Special projectsREQUIREMENTS
Accounting experience
A good understanding of general accounting principles
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experience with electronic accounting software
A degree is not required but would be preferred
Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen.
