Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in Wexford, Pennsylvania, 15090, United States. This role is crucial in our finance department where you will be instrumental in financial reporting and process creation. Responsibilities: Supervise the creation and accuracy of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports, ensuring the integrity of the accounting records and financial systems. Collaborate with other departments to support overall company operations and goals. Take charge of the financial reporting and articulate critical financial and operational data to executive leadership. Ensure adherence to all internal control procedures by understanding and applying company policies and government regulations. Redesign and improve financial planning, budgeting, and reporting processes. Manage accounts receivable tasks, ensuring prompt collection and accurate record-keeping. Analyze complex financial reports and records to provide strategic recommendations to the top management. Proficiently use NetSuite and other relevant tools for account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, bank reconciliations, general ledger management, journal entries, and month-end close. Requirements Proficient in Account Reconciliation Skilled in Balance Sheet Reconciliation Experience with Bank Reconciliations Knowledgeable in maintaining and handling General Ledger Capable of preparing and managing Journal Entries Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Experience with Month End Close procedures Familiarity with NetSuite accounting software Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field required Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks Knowledge of current accounting regulations and standards.
