Job Description:We are seeking a full-time Production Associate for a Press Brake Setup & Operate position within our Sheet Metal Fabrication Department. Associates are required to have the ability to perform all job duties within the department to support various functions. Attention to detail is required and all associates must meet standards for acceptable production and quality.Candidates selected for these positions must successfully complete screening requirements and a 50 working day probationary period. The job opportunity is currently available on a weekend shift: Saturday -Monday, 7:00 a.m. 7:00 p.m. Please note that this opportunity is part of a bargaining unit rooted in seniority principles consequently shifts are not guaranteed. Applicants should be available to work any shift.Job Responsibilities:

Sets up and operates press brakes

Reads and interprets blueprints

Utilizes precision measuring equipment

Must be computer literate/trainable; must be able recall, load and modify part programs as per the machine programming language

Operates auxiliary equipment as assigned

Must have basic math skills

Meets performance and quality standards

Uses simple tools such as tape measure and protractor.

Ability to work effectively and cooperatively in a team environment.

Regular attendance is required.

Note: This job may not be limited to the operation of a press brake. Other duties, including operation of other machinery in the Fabrication work-center, will be assigned as needed.

Basic Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience operating a Press Brake machine

Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment
