This responsibility encompasses the management of permits for both construction and operational sites. Typical permit applications that you will handle include those for waste processing facilities, land disposal operations, and water transfer locations. You will also be tasked with reviewing the work of technical staff and providing recommendations for improvements. Full-time employment
Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
Telework:You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Williamsport.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Two years as an Environmental Engineer or an Air Quality Engineer;or
Five years of professional engineering experience in environmental protection or in environmental project development, design or construction.
Special Requirement:
This position requires possessionof a valid Professional Engineer license issued by the Pennsylvania State Registration Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors and Geologists or a valid Professional Engineer license issued by the applicable licensing body of another state.
Conditions of Employment:
This position requirespossession of a valid PA non-commercial Class C driver's license or equivalent.
Post Employment Requirement:
Successful candidates with an out of state Professional Engineer license will be required to produce a valid Professional Engineer license issued by Pennsylvania within their initial six month probationary period.
Other Requirements:
PA residency requirementis currentlywaivedfor this title.
