Description Robert Half is recruiting for a reputable client seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist. If you have a keen eye for detail, ambitious work ethic, and excel in a fast-paced environment, this opportunity may be a perfect fit for you.As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, your key duty will be to ensure effective, efficient, accurate, and timely processing of accounts receivable. This role is pivotal and involves collaboration with various departments, so your ability to combine excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a high level of professionalism is crucial.Responsibilities:
Accurate and efficient posting and processing of funds collected from clients.
Maintaining receivables ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and correctly posted.
Generating invoices and account statements and performing account reconciliations when needed.
Escalating account issues and facilitating issue resolution including dispute resolution, negotiate and manage collections.
Monitoring customer account details for non-payment, delayed payments, or other irregularities.
Running regular customer account balance reports and assess levels of debt for risk.
Regularly reviewing processes and procedures to reduce inefficiencies and improve performance.
Providing consistent, courteous and professional support to all customers.
Requirements
Qualifications:
2-3 years experience in an Accounts Receivable role
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word, and other financial software
Strong understanding of billing and financial concepts
Excellent communication, analytical, and negotiation skills
Disciplined in meeting deadlines and able to work independently
