Project Accountant

Description We are in the process of recruiting a Project Accountant in York, Pennsylvania, United States. This role will focus on financial analysis and project accounting in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

Oversee the full cycle of project accounting tasks.

Manage project budgets, analyze costs, and prepare financial reports.

Collaborate with project managers to track job cost and project performance.

Review and process subcontractor pay applications and vendor bills.

Monitor performance against the budget and make necessary adjustments for changes in the project scope or schedule.

Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and uphold the financial policies and procedures of our organization.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.

3+ years of project accounting experience, preferably within the construction sector.

Solid understanding of WIP, AIA Billing, and cost-to-completion.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction accounting software.

Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

Job Title: Project Manager - Piping Division Department: Piping Reports to: President/CEO Summary This position is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of projects within the Piping Division. The ideal candidate coordinates with various stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to specifications. Effective communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role. Success Criteria & Measurement Prepares bid proposals for new business and completes projects within the scheduled timeframe. Maintains positive relationships with customers. Effectively managers a field team (Foreman and fitters/welders). Always maintains professional conduct, particularly when interacting with customers. Detail-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills. Responsibilities Participate in business development activities through response to Request For Qualifications (RFQs) and Request For Proposals (RFPs) as well as participation in project interview presentations. Work with clients (internal or external) to define the project scope, schedule, deliverables, risks, and expectations that are considered. Develop a proposal to document the project scope, schedule, deliverables, measures of success, and associated fee. Develop an internal Work Plan to define revenue, hours budget, internal cost budget, travel budget, sub consultant budget, and estimate reimbursable amounts. Ensure the revenue and budget estimates are entered into the ERP system to accurately reflect the execution of the project. Qualifications 8+ years of experience in Food & Beverage project management and Sanitary & Utility Piping. Experience leading and managing a team. Strong analytical, organizational, and planning skills. Highly proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Comprehensive knowledge of construction technology, scheduling, equipment, and methods. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate a team. Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment. Well versed in the industry and the Company\'s competitors. Excellent multitasking skills, with the ability to perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessary.
