Description The VP Finance will lead all financial administration, business planning andbudgeting. As a member of the executive management team, the VP Finance will report directly to the COO andwill serve as an advisor to them in leading the business. The VP Finance will also collaborate with other leadersthroughout organization.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Provide primary day-to-day management of the financial, administrative, and information technology (IT)operations of the company. Develop functional financial department strategy and assist in executing overall company strategy. Provide ongoing development and monitoring of internal control systems designed to preserve companyassets and report accurate financial results. Advise the COO on all Financial, Accounting and Information System issues as they arise; provide strategicrecommendations to the COO based on business experience and acumen, financial analysis and projections,cost identification/allocation and revenue/expense analysis. Participate in the ongoing strategic planning process as a member of the executive management team andcapture the product of that process in appropriate documentation and presentations. Ensure that operational excellence initiatives are supported at all levels. Engage members of the senior staff team to facilitate cross-department collaboration that ensures that allfinancial and administrative systems positively support the organization’s strategy and operationalcapabilities. Lead finance team in supporting business partners throughout the organization by promoting collaboration todevelop, design (as needed) and maintain key financial analysis and reporting to meet the needs of thebusiness. Oversee long-term budgetary planning and cost management in alignment with plan. Oversee the monthly financial close and rolling financial projection processes ensuring proceduraldocumentation and scripts are maintained and kept current.Requirements Education and/or Experience: The fully qualified candidate will possess an undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA and/or MBA preferred. This individual should have a minimum of ten years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing financial management capacity. Experience with all of the functions of finance is important, as is experience in manufacturing and information technology. Expertise in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and a thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Auditing Standards is required.
