HOLY MACARONI is back for the 2024 York State Fair We have several spots available for hire for the duration of the fair……
1. FRONT OH HOUSE: (requirements)
someone outgoing, energetic who isn’t afraid to engage with customers.
take orders on POS device (square)
pass out meals/drinks
re-stock dry goods, condiments, ice & beverages
2. PREP COOK: (requirements)
proficient skills with knife
can slice/dice veggies & proteins
make sauces, rice, noodles
able to follow recipes
able to work off daily par list fairly independently
3. LINE COOK: (requirements)
experience working on sauté station and charbroiler
experience with high volume orders and keeping a line moving
effective communication with rest of kitchen staff
4. DISHWASHER/GENERAL HELPER: (requirements)
this job is split into 2 shifts. 1 person will open up and work the first half of the day. The 2nd person will work the second half of day and close down the booth.
End of night shift requires a more independent worker. When the fair is over the chefs will put the food away and go home for night. 2nd shift dishwasher stays later and works independently to ensure booth gets cleaned up (finish dishes, sweep floors, wipe down tables, etc)
in between dishes or when there are none, both shifts may also require a general helper (grabbing stock, helping cooks refill deli box ingredients, whatever an extra set of hands is needed for).
REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL
POSITIONS:
1. 18 years or older
2. Must be able to work every day of the fair
2. Punctual
3. Reliable transportation
4. Drug, Alcohol & Drama Free - Zero Tolerance!

Between $12-$17/hr. Pay rate will be based on position & experience.
