Part-Time Community Support Professional I, Southern York County, PA (PA In-Home):
This position is working in our PA In-Home Program as a Community Support Professional I. A Community Support Professional works 1-on-1 with an Individual that lives in the community. This position is working with a younger male who is very high-functioning, and a male candidate is preferred to serve as a Mentor. This position requires some flexibility with schedule, as the Individual and their family may ask this employee to Flex their hours to accommodate changes in the person's schedule. This position is best suited for someone with some experience.
The work location for this position is Southern York County, PA.
This job is inclusive of, but not excluded to the following duties:
Personal Care as needed (to include assistance with toileting, feeding, transfers, etc.).
Behavioral Support (to include dealing with potential physical and verbal outbursts/ aggressiveness).
Medication Administration (must be able to pass PA Medication Technician training).
Applicant must be able to lift 50 lbs. as needed.
Applicant must be able to stand, walk, sit, traverse, kneel, bend from the waist, etc., as needed.
Applicant must be able to communicate verbally, visually and audibly.
Requirements:
Minimum High School Diploma/ G.E.D.
Acceptable criminal background.
Valid Driver's License with 3 years experience, and less than 3 moving violations (NO Major Violations, D.U.I's) in the previous 36 months.
Ability to pass pre-employment Drug Screen/ Physical/ Mantoux Test (PPD, TB).
