You'd be assisting one of two adult males (with IDD) with daily living. Such as Showering, preparing simple meals, taking them into the community, and helping them reach certain goals so they can become more independent. Both individuals have aggressive (sometimes physical) behaviors. However, these behaviors are fairly rare and most of the time both individuals are very friendly and fun to interact with. They both love to joke around with their staff!
Position is Part time but there are more hours possibly available within Focus, working with other individuals and possibly extra hours with the individuals above. Working 30 hours or more with Focus qualifies you for benefits.
Requirements:
Drivers License
Reliable transportation to/from work
Basic Computer literacy
Patience
Willingness to help individuals achieve their goals
