This job REQUIRES weekends. DO NOT apply if you cannot work all weekends.
We are open every day from 11am- 6pm (closing time varies throughout the year).
You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service from the moment customers enter until they leave our establishment. We need someone with a positive and upbeat personality with a desire to deliver outstanding customer service.
You will be responsible for money handling, running cash register, store appearance, stocking and supervising one or two employees. Must have the ability to multi-task, be detail-oriented, and be able to problem solve in order to effectively deal with customers and fellow workers.
Required skills include, but are not limited to: operating register, supervising employees, interacting with customers, enforcing appearance and performance standards, and the overall successful operation of Sweeet!
We are looking for a person who can work independently under the guidance of the owner. They will have one to three employees to supervise.
Essential Tasks & Responsibilities:
Greet customers, help and answer questions.
Make sure store looks excellent at all times.
Sell candy, soda, toys and clothing.
Maintain an upbeat and positive attitude while on duty.
Accurate cash sales and cash handling, including register closeout.
Inform owners upon getting low on any inventory.
Opening and closing duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
Our ideal candidate will be someone with the following attributes:
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment with emphasis on customer service, basic math and counting skills.
Ability to reach, push, pull, bend, stoop, walk up and down stairs and stand for long periods of time.
Ability to handle multiple projects and stressful situations simultaneously.
Must have outgoing personality
18 years of age or older.
Must work well under pressure and deadlines
Must have the ability to make decisions quickly and communicate effectively.
