FOREPERSON
Simeral Construction is seeking an experienced Foreperson to perform work in Residential Construction. Applicants must be able to perform miscellaneous framing, interior and exterior millwork, and be familiar with the finish and mechanical trades.
Job Description:
The Foreperson is the companys on-site manager.
Monitors job status, scheduled subcontractors, job safety, quality control and cleanliness.
Manage your crew to be productive and efficient.
Review and understand all project plans, specifications, budgets and schedule.
Confirm all materials with field verification.
Daily communication with project manager regarding work force and materials needed for the next day.
Interface with client with daily job progress and daily schedule updates.
Qualified candidate must have:
7-10 years of carpentry experience.
Ability to read, comprehend, and explain project plans.
Experience at stake out, layout, framing, millwork trim, and scheduling.
Strong attention to detail.
Good communication and people skills.
Organization skills, and be perceptive to potential issues that may arise.
Ability to use cell phone and email for communication.
Valid drivers license, and transportation to and from work.
Ability to work in various conditions.
Ability to work independently.
Clean and neat appearance.
Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, carry equipment up/down stairs.
Clean criminal record subject to background check.
