Calling all Aspiring Home Renovation / Creative Builders! Take a break from the grind, build your portfolio, and LIVE RENT-FREE in your own wing of a beautiful country home!
I am looking for a live-in carpenter / handy person, who aspires to be a home renovations / creative builder, and doesn't mind tackling additional lawncare / domestic duties.
This person will receive FREE-ROOM AND BOARD, a $500 MONTHLY STIPEND, and private access to their own wing of a beautiful country home. Said wing includes two bedrooms and a full bath.
In exchange, they will help me transform my builder-grade home into a unique, country retreat. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys nature and wants to build their portfolio.
The house is located in beautiful, rolling hills outside Stewartstown, PA., sits on an acre of land, and enjoys epic views of a private valley. It has easy access to I-83, and is only 40 minutes from Baltimore / 20 minutes from York.
In exchange for free room and board, plus a $500 monthly stipend, this person will be required to work 35 hours a week on the following tasks, among others.
- Install built-in seating, trim, wall treatments, and finishing
- Paint walls, cabinets, and hanging wallpaper
- Swap out hardware and light fixtures
- Install additional windows
- Build a back patio, plant trees, and perform general lawn care
- Keep the house clean, cook dinner, do dishes, and wash laundry
