What you will do:Join our high performing team as Duty Manager at this stunning property. This role would be suited to a customer focused leader, with an understanding of front office and grounds operations in a Resort/Hotel/Holiday park setting.Reporting to the Resort Manager, your main objectives will be to provide support to all department heads and ensure the smooth running and high standard in presentation of resort assets.  You will also assist the management team in maintaining a positive work culture and guest services.As Duty Manager, you will cover the afternoon shift of approximately 2pm to 10pm from Tuesday - Saturday (negotiable). Core duties include:Providing support for all departments while on shift as necessaryAbility to provide solutions to complex guest situations Capacity to work autonomously and multitask Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks Ensuring that individual guests, groups and patrons are welcomed warmly, greeted by name where possible, and are efficiently checked-in and checked-out in accordance with established policies and procedures. Assisting guests with special requests, general information, transportation, event tickets, restaurant and other reasonable requests as they arise Maintain communication with all head of departments as well as Assistant and General Manager Conduct regular pool safety checks ensuring the safety of all patrons on-site Complete shift security walks and night patrols Attending to guest call outs as required which may include general maintenance and housekeeping tasks What you will bring: Our ideal candidate will have relevant leadership, front office and grounds experience in a similar operational position where initiative and organisational skills are essential. Previous knowledge of Resorts/Holiday Park operations is highly rated  Previous experience with NewBook or similar PMS is highly advantageous  You will demonstrate a flexible attitude to work and the passion to work as part of an operational team who are hands on, confident and have a passion for delivering outstanding guest relations. What’s in it for you? At Parks & Resorts we are not just about discounts (although you do get these too).
