This is a highly visible, hands-on role working in a fast-paced environment providing the right individual an opportunity to directly support the business along with future advancement opportunities. In this job, you will interact and closely partner with several other teams such as Pharmacy Operations, Payer Relations, Rx Merchandising, and Red Oak Sourcing. Superior analytical and communication skills are equally important in this role, as you will be interacting with senior management on a regular basis.A strong candidate for this position has:

Responsibilities:
Lead FP&A team of six, including two direct reports, responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for Retail Pharmacy Margin
Closely oversee development, and be accountable for, sales and gross margin projections using a bottom-up approach that includes leveraging complex financial models; work closely with the business on critical inputs including rigorous review of key assumptions
Oversight and review of reporting including weekly and monthly results, quarterly earnings, and other periodic deliverables such as bridge summaries explaining operating performance relative to expectations
Partner with various groups across the organization, especially Pharmacy Operations (dispensing scripts) and Payer Relations (reimbursement), to evaluate opportunities and risks as well as enhance the accuracy of budgets / forecasts
Lead complex analytical projects both as an individual contributor and through delegation and review of the team’s work product
Support / help transition many of the monthly finance responsibilities from manual to automated. This requires a knowledge of the financial systems, interfaces along with the business
Required Qualifications
8-10+ years of finance experience with a track record of steady progression (pharmaceutical / healthcare industry preferred, not required)
Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a business-related discipline (MBA preferred, not required)
Strong analytical knowledge base and financial acumen, with proven ability to vision, strategize, and develop actionable tactics against key facts and data insights
Excellent organizational and time management skills with an ability to successfully balance business priorities and maintain a sense of urgency
Ability to problem solve, identify, and remove roadblocks, triage, and prioritize issues
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:$100,000.00 - $231,500.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
