The Inventory Control Manager is responsible for managing and leading the Inventory Control teams to attain company goals in delivery, cost and asset controls. The manager will instill a proactive team culture to develop the workforce to be flexible and responsive while implementing lean principles.

Responsibilities
· Responsible for wall to wall inventory accuracy to include transactional soundness.
· Lead the cycle counting program to ensure a high level of accuracy.
· Partner with internal customers to achieve company goals.
· Identify areas for improvement utilizing root cause analysis and problem solving, as well as other lean principles
· Oversee the development and growth of the team within the inventory control organization through mentoring, coaching, evaluation, feedback through positive reinforcement
· Manages the integrity of inventory data within JDE (or like ERP system)
· Ensure Sarbanes-Oxley Key Controls are effective, as well as properly documented, tested and reported on a timely basis

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management and 5 years in Materials Management experience or equivalent combination in leading and managing manufacturing/supply chain organizations
· Strong leadership and people management capabilities with cross-functional organizational effectiveness
· Advanced MS Office computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project)
· Proficient with MRP or ERP system
· Possess up-to-date knowledge of supply chain methodologies; would be considered an expert in the materials management field
· Excellent oral and written communication skills at all levels to maintain relationships and cooperation in pursuing business goals
· Must be able to influence, negotiate and resolve conflicts to reach consensus around common goals
· Ability to travel among various. locations and vendors/suppliers
· Strong background in a Lean Manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications:
· JD Edwards and JDA business systems experience
· Certification in Supply Chain Management or currently pursuing
· Demonstrated Project Management skills
· Experience working in a high-volume manufacturing environment
