We are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced Concrete Polishing Skills Instructor to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to teach, mentor, and shape the future of workers in the construction and flooring industry.In this role, you will be responsible for providing hands-on training in concrete polishing techniques, equipment usage, and safety practices. You will work with a diverse group of youth ages 16-24, with barriers to employment preparing them to enter the workforce with the skills necessary to succeed in this high-demand field.Key Responsibilities:Instruct students in concrete polishing techniques, from surface preparation to finishing.Teach the safe and proper use of tools and equipment, including grinders, polishers, and dust collection systems.Assist, or lead, teaching the OSHA 10 course provided alongside the concrete training.Develop and deliver course materials, ensuring they are up-to-date and relevant to industry standards.Provide hands-on training, demonstrating both basic and advanced concrete polishing methods.Assess students' progress through practical demonstrations and written evaluations.Foster a safe learning environment by promoting best practices for safety, health, and environmental regulations.Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and completion.Offer mentorship and guidance to students, helping them overcome challenges and succeed in their careers.Stay updated on industry trends and emerging techniques to ensure that the training program remains cutting-edge.
