Description Robert Half is looking for an Accounting Assistant to join a dynamic company. As the Accounting Assistant you will perform bookkeeping and accounting tasks to support the accounting and finance departments. Responsibilities of the Accounting Assistant include collecting payments, invoicing customers, drafting financial documents, and reconciling bank records. Analyze financial budgets and track expenses
Design the bookkeeping processes of the company
Perform administrative duties as necessary
Collaborate with the Accounting team by creating and editing financial documents
Settle financial books including incoming and outgoing funds
Collaborate with clients via phone and email as necessary
Own daily accounting duties such as Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and payroll, payroll tax filings, booking journal entries, reconciling credit card and bank account Requirements - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field of study preferred
Intermediate knowledge of spreadsheet applications
High attention to detail as well as problem-solving and critical thinking skills are a must
Prior bookkeeping experience desired
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and time management
