Treasury Accountant
We have partnered up with a world renown consumer goods company who has an immediate full time permanent job opening at their world headquarters office. This is unique opportunity to work with a well known brand in their accounting department.
Location - Mansfield, MA. Just a couple minutes drive off I-95 and I-495
Description:
This employee will be serving as the primary liason to multiple finance teams within the company as well as reporting to the manager of the Treasury team.
Responsibilities Include:
Processing of journal entries and analysis of treasury reconciliation in the general ledger
Perform daily cash account reconciliations to ensure all cash activity is properly booked
Responsible to independently resolve escalated matters related to Corporate Accounting, Regional Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Provides advanced and delegated duties of Treasury Manager for opening /closing bank accounts.
Oversees integrity of bank accounts authorized signatories database
Perform Foreign Exchange transactions and Hedging Program to include the monitoring, settling and report on hedge activity
Analysis projects for the Treasury Manager and Risk Management team
Requirements
Bachelor's degree with an Accounting major. Other Finance/Economics related majors are also encouraged to apply
An acute proficiency in Excel - must know Vlookups
Experience using SAP is a plus!
MS Access or similar database/application expertise preferred
Demonstrated hands-on independent organizational and project management skills
Strong communication skills with the ability to work in a team environment
