Job Summary: This position involves overseeing the provision of services, ensuring that the store is running as well as it possibly can and that services meet the expectations and needs of customers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Demonstrates competence in all duties and responsibilities of a Laundry Attendant.
Participates in the hiring process and the training of Laundry Attendants.
Creates the work schedule for Sparkle City Laundromat. Collaborates with other Store Managers to effectively use the Company’s labor pool to adequately cover all work shifts.
Ensures that all work shifts are adequately staffed, which may include calling in help or covering for absentee workers.
Monitors quality of Laundry Attendant work performance.
Ensures that all items on the facility Maintenance Checklists are completed on time. Monitors quality and timeliness of work completion when checklist items have been assigned to Laundry Attendants. Provides additional training as needed.
Counsels and supports attendants in work performance improvement.
Resolves customer complaints, and supervises and coaches attendants in the resolution of customer complaints
On a weekly and as needed basis, reports to Owner what facility supplies are needed.
Schedule and lead staff meetings and/or trainings.
Participates fully in management training offered by the Company.
Provides a viable contact telephone number reachable at any time by Management.
Maintains a reliable means of personal transportation.
Minimum Qualifications:
Management and/or leadership education and/or experience.
Must demonstrate an ability to teach and lead in a kind and effective manner.
Must be available to work varied days and shifts.
Proficiency in basic computer skills.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Physical Demands:
Physically able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including one’s own body.
Oral communication over the phone and in person
Frequent alpha/numeric keyboarding
Ability to view computer monitor
