Our client in Providence, RI is seeking a CAD Manager on either a contract or contract to hire basis. The CAD Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to: working with division leaders to assess current processes and offer opportunities for improvement around CAD software; ensuring CAD software standards and protocols are in place and being adhered to enterprise wide; providing training and technical support to CAD users; conducting quality checks; and performing hands on design using Autodesk design software.

To be considered, you must have:

• At least 5+ years as an experienced Designer, with experience in architecture and engineering industry related to building, architectural, civil / structural standards, requirements, and execution
• Solid experience and training with AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D software, and associated software plug ins; Certifications are a strong plus
• Experience developing and implementing a CAD standard manual, providing a detailed modeling plan for each design phase, and providing training
• Proven ability to multi task and work equally well as an individual as well as in small and large project teams
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is preferred; Associates or Technical Degree minimum
