Description We are seeking a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join our team in Providence, Rhode Island. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to commercial real estate, loan and construction matters. This position offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Review surveys, title commitments, and exception documents thoroughly and effectively. Prepare a range of documents related to real estate, loan, and construction matters after consultation with business clients and review by attorneys. Create ancillary real estate transaction documents such as escrow instructions, deeds, easements, owner’s affidavits, closing certificates, entitlements, settlement statements, etc. Provide assistance in real estate, lending, construction, and leasing transactions. Proo legal documents to ensure accuracy and consistency. Analyze and summarize documents, zoning ordinances, and statutes for review by attorneys. Collaborate closely with attorneys to resolve day-to-day issues and support a broad range of commercial transactions and projects. Prepare closing documents. Requirements Must possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal role or similar Proficiency in utilizing Aderant software for case management is necessary Demonstrated expertise in Commercial Real Estate is required Must have knowledge and experience in Zoning, Planning and Land Use Experience in Construction Loans and Construction Law is essential Expertise in Commercial Leasing is required Proficiency in drafting and reviewing Loan Agreements is necessary Must have the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required Must possess strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and analytical capabilities Must have a proactive approach to tasks and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team Must hold a valid paralegal certification or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
