Seeking Companion for Sweet 68-Year-Old with Alzheimer’s
I’m looking for a compassionate adult companion for my 68-year-old mother, who has Alzheimer’s. We need someone to keep her company a few times a week in our downtown Attleboro apartment, including an evening or two and possibly a half-day on weekends while I go do social activities et cetera (I care for my mom solo).
Responsibilities include assisting with meals, drinks, and bathroom needs. She can walk on her own, but needs someone to walk with her and keep her stable, guide her into her chair, et cetera. No specific experience is required—we're more interested in finding the right fit. She's very sweet, and there are two friendly cats and a dog in the home. Please note there are cameras throughout the apartment, and you must be comfortable with that.
Pay starts at $15/hour (higher for those with PCA experience); pay at the end of each shift, either PayPal, CashApp, Venmo, or personal check options for payment.
Ideally, we're looking for one or two regular companions, about 10-15 hours a week.
