Please note that relocation to Providence, Rhode Island is required for the duration of the program.How you contribute:
Use a variety of methods to gather business intelligence from internal and external sources into a common environment and transform into the proper structure that is conducive for analysis.
Initiate and uphold data quality best practices.
Develop, deliver, and maintain a wide variety of automated metric and reporting dashboards.
Support HR metric reporting efforts through the development of repeatable and efficient quantitative solutions.
Drive process improvements through standardization and process optimization using lean principles.
Perform ad hocreporting and data queries to support the needs of a variety of stakeholders.
QualificationsWhat you bring:
A passion for BI work.
Moderate skills with MS Office, particularly Excel and/or Access; knowledgeable with VBA, M, and/or DAX preferred.
A desire to work with Power BI, SAP BusinessObjects, Oracle Business Intelligence, and/or Alteryx Designer.
Possess an understanding of relational databases and using SQL to create complex queries to integrate and transform data.
Creativity to conceptualize and develop non-traditional solutions and a desire to improve process efficacy through automation.
Overwhelming curiosity and an ambition to be a life-long learner and to acquire a broad skill set.
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
How you qualify:
Must be enrolled as a full-time college student pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics or other STEM related field.
Practical experience with a programming language such as Python, R, or MATLAB.
Working knowledge of probability & statistics; familiarity with the scientific method.
