Castle Hill Inn is looking for a Bar Manager to join the team.

About the Position: In the Bar Manager role, you will oversee day to day operations of all restaurant bar spaces, including but not limited to execution of opening and closing checklists, maintaining product and supply pars, and completing recipe audits.
About You: You are energetic, highly motivated, and have a passion for hospitality where pleasing our guests comes naturally. You are able to work in a fast-paced environment, possess excellent multitasking skills, and are willing to work as part of a team.
Essential Duties:
Oversee various bar and Adirondack area guest services.
Maintain bar and storage space’s organization, sanitation, and submit facilities requests.
Develop signature cocktail menus seasonally for various bar & restaurant concepts for maximum guest satisfaction and appropriate profitability.
Schedule bartenders and barbacks for business levels and operating hours. Verifying payroll procedures for this group and meeting budget/forecast goals for labor metrics.
Submit purchase orders for all liquor, beer, non-alcoholic, garnishes, and mixers, reconciling invoices according to company policy.
Complete physical inventory count for beer, liquor, and non-alcoholic products, along with cost of sales analysis and adaptations in a timely manner
Maintain recipe library with crunchtime support to allow for clear financial analysis of COS.
Hire, onboard, and train new bar team members.
Maintain beverage menus, point of sale screens, and inventory data
Conduct and organize beverage-related continued education opportunities for various work groups within CHI F&B
Support catering team with purchasing, special requests, and cost transfers.
Develop and foster strong relationships with distributors to secure top-end products are allocated to CHI and educational and tasting opportunities are available for all staff
Conduct monthly bar meetings and deep-clean sessions with the bar team
Assess online service comments specific to bar performance and schedules discussions with bar team members to review positive and negative reviews
Identify efficiencies to make service bars cleaner and more consistent
Qualifications:
Must have a minimum of 5 years experience, to include 3 years of management experience
Must have flexible schedule to work during days, nights, weekends, and some holidays as needed
Must hold Alcohol Safety Certification and ongoing education on all aspects of beverage and beverage service are required.
Skills & Abilities:
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Ability to lift and move 25-50 pounds
Be collaborative, using a team approach to creating an equitable workplace environment and have respectful working relationships
Compensation and Benefits:
Competitive compensation $65,000 -$75,000/Year
