Castle Hill Inn is looking for a Food and Beverage Operations Administrator to join the team.

Nestled on 40 acres overlooking the southwestern corner of Narragansett Bay, Castle Hill Inn – a Relais & Chateaux hotel – is a coastal haven where guests come to relax and rejuvenate against a spectacular New England backdrop, a location that is second to none. About the Position: In the Food and Beverage Operations Administrator role, you will be responsible for oversight of cash handling, onboarding of new employees, and other administrative projects.

About You: You are independent and able to prioritize tasks. You work well under pressure and have a high degree of attention to detail.

Essential Duties:

Provide department payroll support- liaise with corporate payroll administrator, verify accuracy of time cards, job codes and gratuities, process weekly payroll reports, and maintain payroll compliance.

Place/receive change orders, confirm accuracy, and balance cash drawer, process deposits, reconciliation of petty cash receipts, cash outs, build/track gratuity distribution for pooled positions

Onboard all new employees and schedule orientations

Submit/maintain accurate alcohol certifications, orientation checklists, break waivers, I9 Compliance.

Ordering menu collateral, uniform inventory/seasonal ordering, new vendor setup

Reconcile food and beverage invoices, liaise with A/P, submit house account evidence, process refunds/charges through Aloha/stripe, complete end of month financial recap.

Answer telephone and email guest inquiries; make reservations, liaise with dining and sales staff regarding dining reservations

Undertake additional administrative projects as determined by F&B director

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university

Two to five years related experience and/or training, hospitality experience, especially within a full-service hotel environment

Proficiency in MS products (word, office, excel, powerpoint etc.)

Skills & Abilities:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Must be highly analytical, with tremendous problem-solving abilities

Be collaborative, using a team approach to creating an equitable workplace environment and have respectful working relationships

Compensation and Benefits:
