MUST BE ABLE TO WORK OVERNIGHT 24 HOUR SHIFTS. SORRY, BUT WE CANNOT PROVIDE FULL TIME HOUSING. This job is 50% personality/common sense and 50% manual labor. Energetic, positive, mature people needed for overnight shifts one to four nights per week Monday - Thursday. Summer is short but very busy. Successful candidates will be outgoing and upbeat and will oversee all operations of three small, pet friendly motels in beautiful Misquamicut Beach. Managers must be willing to "wear many hats." Duties include, but are not limited to, checking guests in and out, supervising staff members, taking reservations, keeping exterior and interior of properties clean, neat and functioning smoothly. We need individuals who will treat our businesses as their own, pay attention to the details and display excellent customer service. We have countless wonderful, repeat guests. Manager may, on occasion, have to handle difficult guests as well. Candidates must be honest, reliable, responsible and punctual. Shifts run from 8am to 8am. (There is some flexibility in the hours). Motel office hours are 7am-10pm. There is a small attached apt where Manager sleeps while on duty. MUST HAVE OWN, RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION, be computer literate, be willing to take direction, be physically able to do the job, live within commuting distance and able to begin training immediately. Compensation is a percentage of total revenue (and we are typically sold out every night during prime season). Most nights will be $300-$700, depending on rates and occupancy. Very busy July and August, tapers off after Labor Day but can last until approximately mid October, depending on reservations.
