As a cook, you will play a vital role in our restaurant, ensuring that every pizza is crafted to perfection and meets our high standards of quality. Your expertise in food preparation and knowledge of food safety will contribute to creating delicious meals that delight our customers.
Duties
· Opening pizzas and saucing pizzas for the day based on set par levels
· Prepare the dough Daily to established recipes
· Shredding our own custom blend of pizza cheese
· Marinating our popular grilled chicken.
· Preparing our fresh chicken for the line.
· Slicing fresh vegetables and cold cuts
· Mixing sauces based on our recipes
· Ensure all ingredients are fresh and properly stored, adhering to food safety regulations
· Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper sanitation practices.
· Operate kitchen equipment safely, including ovens, mixers, and knives.
· Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and replenishing as needed
Qualifications
· Must Must have previous Greek style pan pizza experience
· Previous experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is a must.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper handling techniques.
- Strong skills in food preparation
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
